Terms of service

Last updated 2026-10-29.

These terms cover your use of the FindFirst app and service ("FindFirst", "we"). By using FindFirst you agree to them.

1. What FindFirst does

FindFirst checks public marketplace listings on a schedule and tells you about new listings that match your searches. We do not sell items, contact sellers, handle payments between you and sellers, or verify that a listing is accurate, available, legal or safe. Deals are between you and the seller. Meet in public and follow the marketplace's own safety advice.

2. Membership

Plan limits, check intervals and fair-use allowances are listed on the pricing page. We may change prices or plans with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

3. Your account

Invite codes are for one person and one phone. Keep your phone secure. You must not resell access, try to reach other accounts, overload the service, or use FindFirst to harass sellers or break any marketplace's rules.

4. Availability

FindFirst depends on third-party sites and data providers that can change or stop working without notice. We work to keep checks running but do not guarantee that every listing is found, that alerts arrive within any time, or that the service is uninterrupted. If a source stops working for a long period, we will tell you and you may cancel.

5. Third-party sites

FindFirst is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta Platforms, Facebook, Craigslist or Kijiji. Listings and photos belong to their sellers and sites; FindFirst shows a short summary and a link so you can view them at the source.

6. Liability

To the extent the law allows, FindFirst is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost deals, purchases you make, or losses caused by sellers or third-party sites. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

7. Ending your membership

You can cancel any time (see help). We may suspend accounts that break these terms. When an account ends we delete its data as described in the privacy policy.

8. Contact and law

For questions, use the contact details in your invite message. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
